Vendors

What external parties do you work with? Who in your company is responsible for managing these relationships? If you've had issues with this vendor in the past, are you capturing those concerns?

The Vendors module aims to capture all of this information and more. For well-known vendors, use the "In the News" feature to search and save vendor-related articles found on the Internet.

Contracts

Storing vendor information is a great start, but what contracts do you have with these vendors? When does the contract end, and do you have to notify the vendor beforehand if you're not renewing the contract? Do you have an electronic copy of the contract, and where is it?

The Contracts module works hand-in-hand with the Vendors module to provide an overview of who you're working with and what you've agreed upon.

Vendor Contact Info

Chances are that you interact with multiple people at the vendor company. Enter unlimited names, job titles, emails, phone numbers, and notes.

Each contact can be downloaded to a vCard file and imported into Outlook, GMail, etc.

Search the OFAC Database

The Office of Foreign Assets Control, an agency of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, is responsible for publishing the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, a list of individuals and organizations with whom U.S. citizens and residents are prohibited from doing business. To assist with OFAC compliance, VendorRisk includes an OFAC search box when adding/editing a vendor.
