Skeey Interactive LLC
Since 1999, Skeey Interactive has worked with a variety of financial institutions, where we have developed security-conscious intranet and extranet applications.
We launched VendorRisk as a product in late 2009. VendorRisk is based on an intranet application that we created for Boston Private Bank in 2005 and is still being used today.
Skeey Interactive has designed and developed websites and web applications for hundreds of clients, particularly in the entertainment industry. Our past and current client list includes Atlantic Records, Warner Brothers, The Discovery Channel, O - The Oprah Magazine, and musicians including P. Diddy, Matchbox Twenty, and Phil Collins. In addition to design and development, we have a separate business (Skeey Networks LLC) that handles website hosting for many of our clients.
As a three-person company, we have learned to be lean and efficient. As a result, when you interact with us, you will be speaking directly to a company founder. With the exception of a handful of projects over a ten-year span, we have personally handled every aspect of each client engagement, from initial project planning to post-launch maintenance. It is this deep level of customer interaction that has been the key to our success.
- Al Shaw
- Al is the developer and tech support person for VendorRisk. While at Skeey, he has developed sites for numerous clients, including Atlantic Records, Volvo and Yahoo! Prior to becoming a Partner with Skeey Interactive, Al worked as a Systems Analyst at AMR Research (now part of Gartner Group). Al has a BS in Accounting from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and a MBA in Management Information Systems and Strategic Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
- Chris Kane
- Chris is a Partner at Skeey Interactive and a UI Designer for VendorRisk. He has been working with websites and web applications since 1997 and has been played an integral role in business development, project management and user interface design. Chris holds a BA in Communications from Boston College and a certificate in Internet Systems Management from Bentley College. He currently resides in County Wicklow, Ireland.
- Gavin Mac Carthy
- Gavin is a partner at Skeey Interactive and has worked as a designer and general manager with the organization. Mr. Mac Carthy brings over a dozen years of experience in designing and implementing intuitive interfaces for websites and other software applications. His expertise lies in bridging the technical and design divide by understanding the limitations and possibilities of both sides. Gavin holds a BA in English and Classics from the College of the Holy Cross and a MBA from Boston University.
- Bill Kane
- Bill is Director of IT with Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, where he has worked since 1995. Mr. Kane directs the planning, research, design, development and implementation of technology and compliance projects, negotiating and reviewing technology related contracts. Mr. Kane represents the technology area on internal committee’s such as Compliance and Risk Management, Information Security, Vendor Management and Disaster Recovery and develops and implements bank policies, standards, controls and procedures to mitigate risk and to adhere to regulatory requirements. Mr. Kane holds a BS in Business Management from Southern Connecticut State University and a Masters of Science (CIS) from Boston University.
- Daniel J. Steketee
- Daniel is a Senior Consultant for Meradia Group, Inc and is currently responsible for assisting Meradia clients with large-scale strategic and tactical initiatives and managing those initiatives to completion. During his tenure, Mr. Steketee’s project experience has primarily focused on business process management, client and management reporting, performance measurement, strategic planning, vendor selection and workflow automation within the front and middle-office space. Previously, Mr. Steketee spent over nine years in various analytical and consulting capacities at firms including, but not limited to: ByAllAccounts, Stax Inc., and Cambridge Associates. Mr. Steketee holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
